Dr. Michael I. Niman is a syndicated award winning freelance journalist and regular columnist for Buffalo, New York’s ArtVoice and Canada’s Coldtype. He has conducted fieldwork in Costa Rica, Belize, Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Canada, the United Kingdom and across the United States.  He is also a professor of journalism and media studies at Buffalo State College, a two time Project Censored Award winner and author of “People of the Rainbow: A Nomadic Utopia” (Univ. of Tennessee Press).
