Senator Franken speaks about the importance in stopping the corporate takeover of the media.
Several years ago, when I first heard about net neutrality, I thought it was a joke. Surely, something like this could never happen. Then, I remembered that I grew up in the time of Ma Bell and saw her demise (though she has made a comeback). It can happen if we don’t do anything to stop it. We have an advocate in the Senate now who, most likely, will not let the issue go. He also understands the situation and how net neutrality works. We need to step up current efforts and continue fighting before the internet becomes a fragmented piece of crap, unusable to the general public.
Tell the FCC what you think about Net Neutrality. Al Franken can’t do it alone.

Amazing speech. Well worth watching in its entirety.
